American Airlines is a wholly-own subsidiary of American Airlines Group Incorporated offering nearly 6,700 flights daily to 350 destinations in 50 countries. This is the world's largest airline when measured by fleet size, revenue, scheduled passengers carried, scheduled passenger-kilometers flown and number of destinations served. American Airlines is also a founding member of the Oneworld alliance, the third-largest airline alliance in the world.

Destination (Domestic, International)

As of October, 2021; American Airlines flies 231 domestic destinations and 123 international destinations in 61 countries. List of AA’s destinations are stretching in more countries: United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, China, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Italy, etc. It is said that in 2022, AA begins flights to Bangalore, Delhi (India) and Christchurch (New Zealand) despite the impact of Covid-19.

The U.S. and countries around the world have imposed a range of travel restrictions and testing requirements due to COVID-19. You may not be allowed to travel to certain destinations or may be required to self-quarantine when you arrive. A face covering is required by federal law when indoors at the airport and on board American Airlines flights. In addition, passengers flying to the U.S. from another country, including U.S. citizens, must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3 days of departure, or documentation of recovery. These rules do not apply to children under 2. Passengers who may be exempt from wearing a face covering due to a disability must contact the airline for further assistance before travel.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Basic Economy fares are non-refundable and non-changeable for flights originating in North America, South America and certain countries in Asia. For flights originating outside North or South America the no change fee applies, but you may owe a difference in ticket price. Seats are non-transferable and valid only on the flight purchased. Fees for seats are non-refundable with some exceptions.

You can require a refund or a voucher based on class of tickets (from Main Cabin and upper) purchased.
